Delmar A Smith

Delmar A. Smith, age 82 years of West Union, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024. Delmar was born July 23, 1942 in Montgomery County, Ohio to the late Richard & Gertrude (Cooper) Smith.

Survivors include his wife Betty Smith of West Union; daughters Sherri Hollar & Matt of Tollesboro, KY; Kristy Palmer & Shawn of Manchester; son Terry Smith & Mindy of Manchester; step sons Jeremy Nelson & Melissa of FL; Skyler Gibson & Cherokee of Peebles; Michael Gibson of West Union; sisters Barbara Copher of Beaver Creek; Linda Young of Seaman; brother Jack Smith of LaGrange, TX; 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, with Robby Blythe officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirker Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM the day of the service. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home is serving the family.
