Delbert E. Willett

Delbert E. Willett, age 91 years of West Union, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Delbert was born October 31, 1932 in Clinton County, Ohio to the late Ennis & Olive (Lewis) Willett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann Willett.

Delbert retired from DP&L after 30+ years and was a Korean War Veteran. He was very active in the school community and was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the West Union High School. Delbert loved his family and loved to go fishing.

Survivors include three sons Kevin Willett & Rhonda of West Union; Keith Willett & Debbie of Winchester; Mark Willett & Charlotte of West Union; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Noon at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, with Dean Kirker officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirker Cemetery. Visitation will be held the day of the service from 10am to Noon.
