David (Dave) E. Deininger Jr, 51, of Russellville, OH, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at his residence. He was born January 27, 1972 in Wilmington, OH to Martha (Ron) Watkins of Hillsboro and David E. Deininger of Lynchburg.
In addition to his parents, Dave is survived by his loving fiancé of 12 years, Gail Edwards; daughter, Cherish (Dylan) Bradburn and grandson, Landon Bradburn; sons, David Lee Deininger and Malachi (Cassie) Ante; brother, Mike (Julie) Deininger; and sister, Fran Poole.
Dave’s extended family includes nephews Nathan Deininger, Isaac Deininger, Bill Siegler, Jordan Siegler; Gail’s children, Danielle (Gilbert) Limas, Juanita Edwards, Lewis (Christina Borders) Edwards and 6 grandchildren.
Dave will be remembered as a man who looked tough, but underneath was a gentle and loving soul who cared deeply about his family, including his dogs that were like children to him. He loved the holidays and made sure everyone had a gift even if he didn’t know much about them. Dave also loved talking with friends and family, motorcycles, wolves, skull designs, Native American ancestry, playing pool, nature, fishing and camping, and always got a kick out of his trucking buddies driving by honking the air horn. Dave's kind heart and humor will be missed by all who were honored to know him.
Dave will be cremated. A celebration of life reception is being held Friday, November 10th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Perry Township Community Center in Fayetteville.
The Meeker Funeral Home in Russellville is caring for the family.
