Darren A. Stapleton

Darren A. Stapleton age 53 years of West Union, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the Hospice of Hope Adams County. Darren was born July 10, 1972 in West Union, Ohio to Priscilla G. Howard and the late Richard E. Stapleton.

Including his mother Priscilla Howard, he is also survived by his wife Heather Stapleton; daughters Clarinda M. and Emily R. Stapleton.

Following cremation, a celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, at the Adams County Fairgrounds. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union is serving the family.

“A father and a friend, I couldn’t ask for anyone else to grow up with. We shared so many interests and a loving, trusting relationship that I was fortunate enough to have. We shared so much on this earth, we will have a lot of catching up to do when we meet again. I love you dad. See you soon.”
