Danita Rae Steele

Danita Rae Steele, 60, of West Union, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 at her sister’s residence.  She was born October 28, 1963 in Hamilton, OH, daughter of the late William and Norma Wallin Howard.

Danita was a free spirit who loved gardening, the beach and adored her dogs.

She is survived by her beloved children, Tyler (Alli Fannin) Parish, Kayleigh Parish and Travis (Breanne) Parish; adored grandchildren, Declan Parish, Dakota Parish and one on the way, Mikaela Parish; sisters, Cheryl (James) McClanahan, Verla (Jason) Bell and Jacqueline Nelson; father of her children, Robert Parish; her faithful K-9 companions, Violet and Romy as well as many nieces and nephews.

Danita will be cremated.  A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 3, 2024 at The Murphin Ridge Inn from 3PM-7PM. Arrangements are entrusted to Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union.
