Connie Sue Bennington

Connie Sue Bennington, age 79 years of West Union, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023. Connie was born March 3, 1944 in Bentonville, Ohio to the late Henry & Goldie (Wittenmyer) Hesler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ray Bennington, who passed away in 2011; and two sons Gene Bennington and Kelly Bennington.

Connie was a member of the Riverside Church until it closed in 2012. She loved babies and taking care of children.

Survivors include one daughter Darlene Bennington-Stanton of West Union; one son Dean Bennington (Tonya Shelton) of Higginsport; one sister Patsy Devilbliss; one brother Don Hesler (Peggy); nine grandchildren Brandy, Bruce, Barbie, JR, Kelley, Ericka, Siara, Darik & Raygan; twenty-two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; special care taker Rachel Ross.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 at Noon at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union. Burial will follow in the White Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held the day of the service from 11am to Noon.
