Claudia (Haas) Marinelli

Claudia Marinelli, 68, of Cincinnati, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at VITAS Hospice in the Drake Center in Cincinnati.  She was born August 3, 1954 in Maysville, daughter of Frederick Haas of Cincinnati and the late Jeannette Henderson Haas.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Haas and her aunt, Dinah Henderson.

Claudia was a strong, independent woman.  She drove a tour bus in Alaska for many years and was the most popular driver due to her entertaining rhetoric during the tours. She was a big Cher fan and loved taking care of cats. She enjoyed taking care of the cats that others didn’t want due to health issues.

 In addition to her father, she is survived by her sister, Barb Haas; nieces and nephews, David (Emilia) Gawlick, Delilah (Crispin) Bannerman and Jennifer Sutton; great-nieces, London, Isobel and one great-niece on the way; aunts and uncles, Susan (Craig Decker) Haas and Mel (Diana) Haas as well as several cousins.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Manchester Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home in Manchester.
