Clarice Maxine Tracy, age 95, formerly of Cincinnati, OH, entered into rest Thursday, July 2, 2026, at her niece’s residence near Olive Hill, KY, surrounded by family. She was born on August 26, 1930, in Blue Creek, OH; a daughter of the late Herman Tracy and Flossie Chamblin Tracy.
Clarice graduated from Rarden High School in 1948 and went to Cincinnati to work. As an independent, smart, and driven lady, she pursued a career and made her own way as a typist and key punch operator. She was a member of the New Life Community Church. She loved the Lord, being involved in her church community, and serving others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings; three sisters, Virginia Smith, Wyvonne Freeman, and Ruth Hoffer Little; and two brothers, William Tracy and Virgil Tracy, one niece, Tina Tracy; and one great-nephew, Chad Harris.
Clarice is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as a host of church friends and family who will greatly miss her and cherish her memory.
Funeral services will be conducted July 8, 2026 at Noon at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home; 216 W. Mulberry Street West Union, OH 45693. With Rev. James Tracy officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM till the time of the funeral service at Noon.
