Charles R. Lancaster

Charles R. Lancaster, 74, of West Portsmouth, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025 at his residence.  He was born January 22, 1951 in Manchester, son of the late Russell and Mary Pence Lancaster.  He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Susan Harlowe.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Eddie, Mike and Jim.

Charles retired as a Tow Boat Captain for Ingram Barge Co in Paducah, Kentucky.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Valerie Lancaster, Stephanie Lancaster, Cynthia Miller and Tyler Jamison as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 12:00 PM, until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home, 35 W. Second St., Manchester.  Burial will follow at Manchester Cemetery.
