Charles Lee Caplinger

Charles Lee Caplinger age 79 years of Blue Creek, peacefully slipped into eternity on June 21, 2024 at the Adams County Manor. Charles was born on June 24, 1944 to the late Earl and Edna Lucille (Gordley) Caplinger in Adams County, Ohio. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Caplinger (Robinson), daughter Leesia Crabtree, and brother William Taylor.

Charles leaves behind a daughter Amy Hall and Craig of West Union, OH; four granddaughters Kayla Cruea and Austin of Tollesboro, KY; Kalena Grooms and David of Manchester, Oho; Hannah Webb and Brian of West Union, OH; Alyssa Bosier and Austin of Blue Creek, OH; a brother Tom Caplinger and Della of West Union, OH; a sister Shirley Young of West Union, OH; eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will be held in the White Oak Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
