Carl Hurd

Carl Hurd, age 43 years, of Blue Creek, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Carl was born April 12, 1983 in West Union, Ohio to Marjorie (Burns) and the late Charles Hurd Jr. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Charles Hurd Sr. & Priscilla; maternal grandfather Donald Burns and nephew Aaron Hatton.

Survivors include his mother Marjorie E. Hatton & Kenneth of Sardinia; wife Felicia Hurd of Blue Creek; daughter Xael Hurd of New Vienna; maternal grandmother Dessie McCann; sisters Marjorie A. Hatton & Bryan of New Vienna; Christy White of Blue Creek; brother Justin Perry & Marissa of New Vienna; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.

Carl is to be cremated; no services are scheduled at this time. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union is serving the family.
