Burton Bowens Obituary

Burton R. Bowens, age 78 years, of West Union, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024. Burton was born January 5, 1946 in Weeksbury, KY to the late Charles & Marie (Collins) Bowens. In addition to his parents, Burton is preceded in death by brothers Bob & Chuck Bowens and infant son Burton Charles Bowens Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Bowens; son Charles Bowens (Julie); daughter Kimberly Crum; sisters Pat Shields, Peggy Shields, Brenda Morgan & Sharon Conaway (Greg); brothers Benjamin Bowens (Norma), Luther Bowens & James Bowens (Tonya); and two grandchildren.

Burton’s wishes were to be cremated, no services are scheduled at this time. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union is serving the family.
