Brenda K. (Irwin) Kinhalt

Brenda K. Kinhalt, 62, of Stout, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at SOMC Hospice Unit in Portsmouth.  She was born November 8, 1961 in Maysville, KY, daughter of the late Donald and Joyce Tucker Irwin.  She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, David Kinhalt.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ron Irwin, Berdett Woods and Billy Tucker; sister, Linda Friend and a sister-in-law, Peggy Irwin.  

Brenda loved to fish and shoot pool.  She had the fortune of catching some large fish and played in several pool tournaments.  Brenda had a green thumb; she loved to grow just about anything.  After her husband retired, she enjoyed him doing all the cooking and serving her amazing food.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Donnie (Marye) Kinhalt; daughter, Tonya Kinhalt; grandchildren, Danielle, Gage, Jameson and Shelby Kinhalt and Anthony Rohrich; great-grandchild, Henry Taylor; sister, Connie (Troy) Bilyeu; brother, Jerry (Carolyn) Irwin; her best friend, Shauna Chandler as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Friday, June 7, 2024 at Wilson Funeral Home, 35 W. Second St., Manchester.  Graveside services and burial will be held immediately after the visitation at Puntenny Run Cemetery, Green Township.  Pastor Dale Little will officiate.
