Beverly Sue (Shivener) Evans was born March 3, 1945 and she passed away on Wednesday December 17, 2025. Best known as Sue or Nana to her family and friends. She was born to Gladys Mae (Shivener) Wilson and she was raised by her Nanny and papaw, William and Moncie (Louderback) Shivener.
She is preceded in death by her mother, nanny, papaw, one daughter, and one brother. She is survived by three children: 2 sons; Bradley Evans and Timothy (Marcilla) Evans, one daughter; Dana (Tony) Nath. 5 grandchildren; Madison Nath, Emily Evans, Cheyanne Feldhausen, Brandon Evans, and Ray Evans and 8 great grandchildren. One brother Lawrence (Carmelita) Shivener.
Sue grew up in the Lynx/Blue Creek area and she enjoyed going to church there with her friends. She lived with her mom helping take care of her until she passed 9 years ago. After the passing of her mom, she moved to Kentucky with her daughter and family. Although she was living in the city, the country was always her home. She would drive back to visit with her friends and family as much as she could. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her faith was strong and she was always thinking of others before herself. She was the most thoughtful, caring, giving mom/friend you could meet. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
Following cremation, a burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home is serving the family.
