Barbara J. (Wade) Langford

Barbara Wade Langford, age 87 formerly of Russellville, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025 at the Montage of Mason Senior Living Facility. She was born April 2, 1938 in Russellville, OH, to the late William T. and Tressie V. (Phillips) Wade. She was a buyer at American Laundry Machinery in Norwood, OH for over 25 years. Prior to this, she also worked as a licensed real estate agent and was a secretary for the FBI in Washington DC.  

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Eugene Langford in 2013.

Barbara is survived by 2 sons, Ricky Bowman of Winchester, OH, William Bowman of Hamilton, OH; 3 daughters; Lisa Lewis (Michael) of Morrow, OH, Kandy van Leersum (Hans) of Pleasant Plain, OH, Tara Milligan (Jamie) of Covington, KY; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Donna Jackson (Harold) of Bellefontaine, OH as well as 1 niece and 1 nephew.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Meeker Funeral Home in Russellville. Burial will follow in the Linwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at noon.
