Barbara Jo (Orr) Cross

Barbara Jo Cross (Orr), 69 of Manchester, Ohio passed away Friday, December 20, 2024. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 13, 1955 to the late William and Mary Orr (Keyes) of Sardinia, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 2 sisters Beverly, and Kristine Orr, and Granddaughter Shyla Hale. 

She leaves behind her brother, Tim (Terry) Orr of Hamilton, Ohio, sister Janet (Herb) Maxwell of Grove City, Ohio. Three children; Brandon Hembree of Cincinnati, Ohio, Matthew Cross of Manchester, Ohio, Cassandra Cross of Manchester, Ohio. Five Grandchildren; Jordan Hicks, Alexus Hembree, Madden Cross, Christopher Hale II, and Azalynn Cross, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her dearest friend, Becky Hawkins. 

She worked as a phlebotomist at the Adams County Hospital for many years, and finished her career out at Healthsource, Seaman office. She loved her patients, and her co-workers dearly. 

Following Cremation, a Celebration Of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in Manchester.
