Ameicko F. Nehus

Ameicko Fawn Nehus, 54, of West Union, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025 at her residence.  She was born September 21, 1970 in Greenfield, OH, daughter of Wayne Chandler of West Union and the late Barbara Ames Chandler.  She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Norman Nehus Jr.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Emma Hayslip and her aunt, Brenda Shope.

Ameicko’s greatest loves in her life was her kids, grandkids and animals.  She was an adored 4-H leader for 35 years.  She also ran on the West Union Life Squad.  She will be greatly missed by so many.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her children, Summer (Nick) Weir, Chy (Doug) Tolle, Valerie (TJ) Cox and Caleb (Summer) Stephenson; grandchildren, Kylee, Alex, Dominic, Darius, Draxton, Dalton, Brielle and Hudson; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Dawn Driggers as well as her 4-H family.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 1:00 PM, until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home, 216 W. Mulberry St., West Union.  Ameicko will be cremated after the services.
