Virginia Grooms

Virginia Grooms age 89 years of West Union, Ohio passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman, Ohio.  Virginia was born September 2, 1928 in Mason County Kentucky the daughter of the late Lewis & Winnie (Bervard) Bean.  Besides her parents Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Coleman Grooms and Son in Law Lee Heston.

Virginia was a member of the West Union Christian Union Church and many local organizations.

Survivors include daughter Sally Heston of Kensington, Ohio; son Chester Grooms & Charlotte of West Union, Ohio; Grandchildren Matthew Heston & Lucy, Amy May & Tony, Adam Grooms & Rachel; Great Grandchildren Cole May, Colin May, Harrison Heston and Darby Heston.

Funeral services will be held Thursday January 11, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Meeker Funeral Home with Brian Justice officiating.  Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be held the day of the service from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
