Lucy E. Littleton Kinnett

Lucy Kinnett, 86 of Ripley, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing Home near Ripley. She was born on August 22, 1932 in Mason, County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Sammie J Littleton and Iva Moore Littleton. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Kinnett, an infant daughter Cheryl King and her siblings: Roscoe and Mitchell Littleton, Ethel Hurst and infant Maud Littleton.

Lucy was owner/operator of Lucy’s Beauty Salon for 42 years. She was a volunteer for Hospice of Hope from 1990 to 2014. She was recognized by Hospice of Hope on August 02, 2019. Lucy having spent more years than anyone volunteering for Hospice of Hope, spent countless hours making patients feel good about themselves with her expertise on styling their wigs. Lucy also worked the election polls for many years and was a staunch supporter of the Republican Party. Lucy took pride in making flower gardens for the Ripley Centenary United Methodist Church, where Lucy was a long time member.

She is survived by one son Roger Kinnett of Mason County, Kentucky, her grandson Rodney Kinnett and fiancee’ Cyndee Biancrosso of San Clemente, California and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A special friend, Dianne.

Funeral services will be held at the Meeker Funeral Home, Russellville, Ohio on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM the day of the service. Rev. David Harper will be officiating. Burial will be at the Pisgah Ridge Cemetery following the service.
