Karen Grooms

Karen Grooms age 80 years of West Union, Ohio passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Ohio Valley Manor in Ripley, Ohio.  Mrs. Grooms was born in Cedar Mills, Ohio on April 23, 1939 to the late Oscar E. & Alta B. (Copas) Staggs. 

Mrs. Grooms was an election poll worker for over 60 years and attended the Satterfield Chapel Church.

Survivors include her husband Robert “Bobby” Grooms of West Union, OH; three daughters Karen Adams, Denise Palmer, Roberta Long and Natalie Davenport.  Ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the West Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be held the day of the service 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
