John Waits

John Waits age 70 years of Winchester, Ohio, passed away on December 11, 2019 at the Bethesda North Hospital.  John was born on June 11, 1949 in Highland County, Ohio the son of the late Albert and Waneta (Landess) Waits.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Charles Gene, and Tommy.

John was a member of the Union Church of Christ in Taylorsville, Ohio; where he served as a Deacon, a member of the Christian Missionary Fellowship, and worked at SENCO for 42 years.

John is survived by his loving wife Kathy (Vogler) Waits of Winchester, Ohio; sister Donna Fiste and Ronald of Florida; two brothers Daryl Waits and Darlene of Lynchburg, Ohio; David Waits and Karen of Lynchburg, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Glenn Hess officiating.  Burial will follow at the Cherry Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. the day of the service.
