Freeda Anuel Nelson

Freeda Anuel Nelson age 85 years of Otway, Ohio passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 at her home.  Mrs. Nelson was born December 18, 1932 the daughter of the late Benjamin and Wilma (Hyatt) Cooper in Morehead, KY. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George C. Nelson and two brothers Hiawatha Cooper and David Cooper.

Survivors include two daughters Angela Christine Miller and Dean of Winchester, OH; and Freeda Marie Nelson of Otway, OH; seven sons Anthony Wayne Nelson and Melody of West Union, OH; Patrick Boone Nelson and Robin of Vanceburg, KY;  Larry Gene Nelson and Tina of Kenton, OH;  Kerry Dean Nelson and Sue of Kenton, OH;  Herman Cecil Nelson and Cherry Ann Blue Creek, OH;  Timothy Jay Nelson & Barb of Kenton, OH; Nathan Charles Nelson and Rhonda of Marysville, OH; one sister Glatis Meyer; one brother Paul Cooper; Care giver and granddaughter Angela K. Abercrombie of Otway, OH; twenty five grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.    

Funeral services will be held Monday July 9, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Joey Sandlin officiating.  With cremation to follow.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. the day of the service.
