Audrey Kalb Wagel

Audrey Kalb Wagel, age 95, of Russellville, Ohio, the first child of Fred Sr. and Margaret (Kalb) Wagel, was born on September 19, 1923, and died at the Ohio Valley Manor on March 7, 2019, where she was receiving loving care since February 2013. Audrey was baptized into Christ at the Peace Lutheran Church, Arnheim, Ohio, where she was a lifelong member. She graduated from the Russellville-Jefferson High School in 1943 and devoted her productive years to her family, especially the care of her invalid mother. Audrey served twenty years as a skilled and devoted member of the Peace Altar Guild. Guided by faith and the hope of eternity with her Lord, Audrey lived in obedience and hope. Audrey’s parents, Fred Sr. and Margaret preceded her in death.

Audrey is survived by two brothers; Fred Wagel Jr. and James (Miriam) Wagel, three nieces and two nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at the Peace Lutheran Church, Arnheim, Monday, March 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be at the church, one hour prior to the service. Pastor Laura Shreffler will lead the worship and committal. Burial will be in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Arnheim.
